Splatoon Koshien 2017 was used to determine what team would be representing the Japan region in the tournament. Dynameu won, earning their spot in the invitational.
Europe[]
The ESL Go4Splatoon Europe Grand Final was used to determine what team would be representing the Europe region in the tournament. Rising Moon won, earning their spot in the invitational.
Australia/New Zealand[]
The 2017 AUNZ Splatoon Cup was used to determine what team would be representing the Australia region in the tournament. Blue Ringed Octolings won, earning their spot in the invitational.
