Annie (アネモ, Anemo^?) is a character in the Splatoon games. She is a sea anemone who owns the headgear shop, Cooler Heads, in Booyah Base (in Splatoon and Splatoon 3). She also runs the SplatNet Gear Shop in Splatoon 2 and Splatoon 3.

Appearance

Annie has pink hair tinted with pastel-green at the tips of her tentacles and also houses Moe in it. She has cyan eyes with reddish-pink pupils. Annie possesses a shiny black accessory in her hair, in the shape of a star and also has black glasses. She has pink-purple headphones and a chartreuse jacket emblazoned with purple and bright blue squids. Annie also has a dark blue-green top, orange tights with black squids on it, and black biker boots.

Personality and traits

Annie is shy, but has many secret fans. It is hinted at in the nineteenth Sunken Scroll that Moe, the clownfish in Annie's hair, might be manipulating Annie. It states "Is the big fluffy one providing shelter for the little fishy one, or is the little fishy one manipulating the big fluffy one? We may never know... "

• Annie and Moe's combined names are a pun of the word "anemone," as their names sound like the "ane" and "mo" in anemone respectively.
• Moe is a clownfish, a species that tend to take shelter in sea anemone.
• It has been confirmed by Callie and Marie during Squid Sisters Stories that during the events of Splatoon 2, Annie works at Ammo Knights with Sheldon. She works there as a weapon decorator, though she cannot be seen.
