Backwards is a member and the leader of Team Green.

Backwards is a light-skinned male Inkling, with green eyes and green tentacles in the "Topknot" hairstyle, though the color can change at will. He is named after his headgear, the Backwards Cap, but he also wears the Varsity Jacket and the Hunter Hi-Tops. He uses the Sloshing Machine as his main weapon.

Being a side character, not all that much is known about his personality. He seems to have a bit of an ego, but isn't a sore loser.
