Cohozuna is a King Salmonid. It has been observed that this special King Salmonid rarely ever fights against Inklings and Octolings working for Grizzco. It usually stays in the water and launches mass-scale waves rather than bee-lining enemies like its fellow Salmonids.
Behavior[]
The Cohozuna usually appears at the very end of a shift when a players’ meter is completely full, although there is a chance that it will not spawn even if the meter is full. When it does appear, it comes up from far away, and doesn't go near the ports like all the other King Salmonids. When the third round is over, it bellows from afar, summoning a large wave of Salmonids and a few Boss Salmonids.
Cohozuna will appear during special fourth waves called Xtrawaves. During the wave, an Egg Cannon will be given to the player. Picking up a Golden Egg will charge the Egg Cannon, and pressing A will deal a great charged shot that deals a lot of damage. Shots from the Egg Cannon can additionally kill Boss Salmonids in one hit, besides using it to battle Cohozuna.
Strategy[]
Cohozunas are very large and are very easy to target. Although Golden Eggs deal a high amount of damage on their own (600p), it is recommended that weapons with high DPS (Damage Per Second) that deal damage close to Golden Eggs should be focused on Cohozuna the most.

- Heavy Splatling
- All Grizzco Weapons
During Xtrawaves, one extra Special weapon will be given to each player. Specials must be used wisely against Cohozuna and the Boss Salmonids.
Description[]
Its eyes, unlike regular Salmonids, are simple beady white circles. A large can be seen across its jaw, suggesting it's been through many battles. This scar may have dated back to even the Great Turf War. It has a large red Mohawk similar to Cohocks above its head and a white underbelly, and several chains hang around its neck.
