The Dual Squelcher is a Main Shooter weapon in Splatoon.
Description[]
The Dual Squelcher acts as a counterpart to the normal Jet Squelcher, with a higher rate of fire. However, it has a slightly shorter range and deals slightly less damage - but it still has one of the longest ranges of any Shooter weapon in the game. Unlike the Jet Squelcher, the Dual Squelcher does not slow the players' movement.
The Dual Squelcher is one of few weapons to not reappear in Splatoon 2, instead being replaced by the Dualie Squelchers.
Despite not appearing in Splatoon 2, there is a 3D model with its textures in the game code. That means that originally this weapon was going to be in Splatoon 2 before being reworked.
Weapon Quote[]
"A double-barreled Jet Squelcher with a much higher rate of fire. The power of each shot is low, but the ample range and firing rate more than make up for it."
