The melodious, punkish sound of rock outfit Front Roe has been swimming up the charts in Splatsville lately. Here's a sneak peek at one of their songs "Sea Me Now" that'll appear in #Splatoon3! 🔊 🎶

  • Unknown Fourth member

Trivia

  • The band members' names are sushi references:
    • NAMIDA is wasabi used by a sushi chef. It also means "tear".
    • ICHIYA comes from "ichiya zushi" (一夜鮨, lit. "one-night sushi"), a kind of fermented sushi.
    • MURASAKI is soy sauce used by a sushi chef. It also means "dark blue violet".
  • Out of the 4 Squid Squad members, Ikkan is the only one to retire this band. This is because he created another band, Diss-Pair, in Splatoon 2, and would probably mean he's still making songs under that band.

History

Currently, there is no history on Front Roe.

Etymology

The band's name is a play on "front-row" (the closest row of seats to the stage of a theatre/theater or auditorium) and "roe", a group of fish eggs that Power Eggs are based on.
