The Ink Vac is a special weapon in Splatoon 3. Its name was revealed three days after the gameplay of it in the release date trailer of Splatoon 3.
Description:[]
When deployed, the Ink Vac sucks in enemy ink, which can be used to protect allies from it. Enemies caught within range of the special appear to be applied with a Toxic Mist-like effect. Near the end of the duration, it will shoot out a projectile of ink that will explode afterwards, splatting opponents caught in the radius. There is a window of vulnerability between these two parts, The radius increases with more enemy ink sucked before shooting the explosive projectile. The more ink you absorb, the more powerful the shot will be. Even with no ink sucked, this weapon still does fatal damage.
