Master Mega is Shiver's pet megalodon shark that appears in the The Pursuit of the Precious boss fight alongside Shiver. He can be seen being ridden by her during the gameplay and cutscenes.
Description[]
Master Mega is a small, gray megalodon shark with a white underside. He can be seen wearing an enlargened version of the 18K Aviators along with a respawn point for Shiver and a waist harness that has two engines, allowing him to move faster. Behind his back fin there also appears to be a saddle with handles that Shiver sits on during the battle.

- Due to Master Mega being a Megalodon, it ie confirmed that the Megalodon species of shark are not extinct in the Splatoon universe.
- Due to his rather small size compared to most Megalodons, it is implied that he is an adolescent or not fully grown Megalodon.
- He does not speak, or is otherwise implied to have equivalent language capabilities like Big Man.
- In the mid-fight cutscenes in The Pursuit of the Precious, Master Mega is not animated.
