The N-Zap '83 is a shooter weapon in Splatoon and Splatoon 2. It is a N-ZAP '85 modified by Sheldon, and is part of the Sheldon's picks series 2. It has the same stats as the N-Zap '85, except it has different sub and special set.

Appearance[]

It is based off of the Nintendo Family Computer System controller. The Famicom ( an early version of the NES ) was released in Japan on July 15th, 1983, hence the weapon's name. The N-Zap '83 also features the same color scheme as the controller, and has the A, B, Select, and Start buttons from the controller on the side of the weapon.

Splatoon[]

In Splatoon, the N-Zap '83 comes with the Point Sensor as its Sub Weapon and the Kraken and its Special Weapon. It was released on June 8, 2016

Splatoon 2[]

In Splatoon 2, the N-Zap '83 looks the same as it did in the previous game. In comes with the Sprinkler as its sub and the Ink Storm as its special.

Quotes[]

The N-ZAP '83 is an N-ZAP '85 that I've modified to faithfully recreate a classic limited-edition piece. It's so faithful, in fact, that the buttons might stick a bit sometimes... But that's all part of the charm, yes? The Point Sensor and Kraken make for a set that is handy for cutting off your opponents' advance

The N-ZAP '83 is a replica of a weapon shrouded in legend. The original was only produced for a short time, but I brought it back! Support the main weapon with the fire-and-forget Sprinkler sub, and bring on the rain delays with the Ink Storm special! If you value aggressive inking and want to take a trip down memory lane, this set's for you!
