Octostamps (タコスタンプ, Tako Sutanpu / Octopus Stamp) are Octarian fighters in Octo Valley, Octo Canyon, Deepsea Metro, and Alterna.
Strategy[]
The primary attack of an Octostamp is attempting to jump on enemies on their inky face. Should people be caught, they will get an instant splat/lose their armor.
In order to defeat them, players must wait for them to try and squish them. Then, once they face plant, the player can open fire on their exposed backsides.
Appearance[]
The Octostamps are cubes with a sponge-like face, covered in purple ink. On their backsides, there is a tentacle, like the Mighty Octostomp, and other bosses, excluding DJ Octavio. They are very small and thin. Unlike the Mighty Octostomp, their face is completely black except for their eyes, which have glowing white pupils. They also have white legs, and black boots.
Trivia[]
- The Octostamps are just smaller versions of the first boss in Hero Mode, the Mighty Octostomp.
- They will make sponges smaller if they face plant one.
