Propellers are a mechanic in several missions in Octo Valley, Octo Canyon, Octo Expansion and Return of the Mammalians, as well as some multiplayer stages. They were introduced in the Hero Mode level Stage 6: Propeller-Lift Playground.
Description[]
Propellers appear similar to fan blades attached to a central axis and stand. They can be found on movable platforms, known as Propeller-Lifts or Propellervators.
Usage[]
When sprayed with ink, Propellers begin to spin and the platforms they are stationed on start to move in a designated direction. Propellers can only be operated by a constant stream of ink, as a halt in this stream causes the platform to stop and soon after will start to slowly move in the opposite direction.
