Agent 4 with a Squid Ring
Squid Rings are orange, crispy rings found in the Hero Mode of Splatoon 2 and Splatoon 3. They come in various situations, but mostly as a “reward” when the player does something good.
Appearance[]
As mentioned above, Squid Rings are assumably cripsy (by the texture), orange rings. But, compared to Agent 4 and 8, squid rings are very big, about twice the size of them. It has the ability to float, and can rotate to be facing upwards or sideways.
Use[]
They are used for “free power eggs”. If a player decides and jumps/goes through them, they will be rewarded with Power Eggs. Most of the time, in order for it to spawn in the player needs to do something like splat all the Octarians in the area or ink a Splat-Switch.
Trivia[]
- Marie saying “Want a Squid Ring? They’re morbidly delicious!” could be reference to how Agent 4 and Marie are squids, and they are “eating” the squid rings.
