Suction Bombs are a type of Sub Weapon in Splatoon, Splatoon 2, and Splatoon 3. They are remote charging-like bombs.
Description[]
Suction Bombs can be thrown and are able to attach to most surfaces, including walls and ceilings. After a short period of time, they explode in a burst of ink, bigger than any other type of bombs. They are the slowest to explode out of any of the bombs. These bombs are used in a magenta bomb rush by DJ Octavio in Splatoon 2 .
They also appear to be paint cans.
Tips & Tricks[]
- Suction Bombs have a larger kill radius than Splat Bombs
- Since the have a long charge time, aim for where the player will be, not where they are.
- Suction bombs can stick to walls and ceilings.
- If you throw a Suction Bomb at the wall below a ledge, it can hit players on top of the ledge and vice versa. Use this to kill Chargers on ledges, or to prevent players from climbing onto ledges.
- If you throw one right where Dualies main dodges, you may be able to splat them.
- If used carefully, you can splat players in the most creative of ways.
