Tentakooks[]
Tentakooks are a new type of enemy featured in Splatoon 2 and the Octo Expansion. They are used in places that makes them hard to splat, as they are known for their high speed and Splat Bombs.
Appearance[]
Tentakooks are extremely small tentacles, with only about 3 visible suckers from behind. They appear to be wearing a construction helmet that is strapped around the body. The helmet is covering their eyes, but not their fat purple lips. The helmet also has an opening for inking the ground, and behind it there is also another opening on it's back for throwing Splat Bombs down behind them. They also wear small roller skates (with purple-ink wheels) with tiny ink tanks attached to it’s behind. When idle, these guys are seen facing upwards while spinning. They also jump when they go to face a new direction.
Attack Method[]
These fast little guys use their roller-skates to their advantage in being very fast. A part in their helmet opens up and shooting out ink, which is used to their advantage, by looking down at their ground and shooting their ink on it to keep them going continually fast without slowing down on enemy ink. When running, they place down a Splat Bomb to keep players at bay and to distract while running away.
Strategy[]
- These guys are speedy, so try to use shortcuts to get ahead and splat.
- Agents should also keep this tip in mind because blindly following Tentakooks is dangerous as their bombs break armour.
- As mentioned above, agents should be warned as blindly following the Tentakook can result to an instant armour break due to the Splat Bomb.
- Using long range weapons like the Hero Charger could help, as when they are running you can still reach them with your weapon.
- If having to do a Sheldon Request, then you can instead throw bombs at their path to do the same.
