The Undercover Brella is a Main Brella Weapon in Splatoon 2 and Splatoon 3. This weapon has the ability to open up the Brella as a shield while attacking by holding ZR, but is unique in that the shield will not detach from the base. It debuted in Splatoon 2.
Overview[]
The Undercover Brella has decent damage, needing only three close range shots to splat the opponent. This Brella has a quick rate of fire unlike the Splat Brella or the Tenta Brella. The weapon's ability, which allows the player to shield themselves with the Brella while attacking, is great, as the player is now able to attack and defend at the same time. However, the shield part of the Brella cannot be launched at enemies, but has a fairly short recharge time. Additionally, the shield will instantly regenerate if the player gets a splat or an assisst if broken, or will be returned to full health. Overall this weapon is good for both attacking and defending players who are a bit scared about being splatted. It is the weakest Brella in terms of damage, but it makes up for that with its speed and shield.
